Aftercare with Fable Hollow
Second Skin
- Keep the second skin plaster on for 3-5 days (if the plaster peels back and the tattoo is exposed take off plaster)
- Stretch it off gently under warm running water, give the tattoo a very gentle wash to remove excess ink and plasma
Clingfilm Wrap
- Take of after 3-5 hours,
- Do not rewrap
Post Wrap
- Avoid soaking the tattoo (baths and swimming) for at least 2 weeks.. but showering is essential!
- Air dry or pat dry with a clean kitchen towel
- Put a thin layer of aftercare cream on the tattoo 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks
- Avoid itching or irritating the tattoo during healing (avoid tight clothing on the area)
- After 2 weeks you will notice your tattoo is healed but still 'shiny', it will settle over time as your skin fully heals
- Avoid sun damage on your tattoos by using SPF whilst in the sun once the tattoo is fully healed (keep it out of the sun within the first 2 weeks)
- Avoid excessive exercise for the first few days to avoid irritation/ sweating etc
